Terms of Service

  1. Scope of Work

All services will be carried out according to the agreed proposal or quotation. This includes design, materials, planting, installation and any additional services listed. Any changes requested after acceptance of the proposal may incur additional charges.

  1. Consultation & Design

Design services include an assessment of the space, lighting, wind patterns, access and existing planting. All design concepts remain the intellectual property of the designer until the project has been paid in full. Revisions outside the agreed number will be charged separately.

  1. Materials & Plants

All plants and materials will be sourced to meet the agreed design. Any substitutions due to seasonal availability or supplier limitations will only be made with comparable quality and aesthetic. Plant species are living organisms and natural variation in colour, shape and growth should be expected.

  1. Site Access & Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring clear access to the project site, including parking where required. If access is restricted or delayed this may affect timelines and may incur additional costs.

  1. Health & Safety

Our team follows all current safety guidelines. Clients and third parties must not enter work areas unless invited by the project lead. Any hazards on site must be disclosed before work begins.

  1. Project Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided as guidance. Weather conditions, supplier delays or unexpected site issues may affect completion dates. Any substantial changes will be communicated as early as possible.

  1. Payment Terms

A deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure the project and purchase materials. The remaining balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur administrative charges.

  1. Cancellations & Postponements

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or design work has begun. If a project is postponed, storage fees for plants or materials may apply.

  1. Plant Care & Maintenance

Once installed, plant health depends on appropriate ongoing care including watering, feeding and seasonal pruning. We provide guidance; however maintenance services are not included unless purchased separately. The company cannot guarantee plant survival after handover due to factors beyond our control such as weather, pests or care.

  1. Warranty on Workmanship

Hard landscaping, structures and installations are covered by a warranty against defects in workmanship for 12 months unless stated otherwise. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, weather events or lack of maintenance.

  1. Liability

We hold appropriate public liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing issues on site, damage caused by hidden pipes or cables not disclosed before work begins, or any loss arising from delays outside our control.

  1. Photography & Portfolio Use

We may photograph the project before, during and after completion for portfolio and marketing use. If you prefer your project not to be featured, please notify us in writing before work begins.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By approving the proposal and paying the deposit, the client agrees to these Terms of Service.
